Morgan Heystek is an artist and graphic designer based in Johannesburg. Her paintings work in blocks of flat colour — interlocking fields of blue, green, ochre, and deep red that meet at clean edges and slip past one another like panels coming into alignment. The result sits between hard-edge abstraction and something quietly architectural, a designer's eye for structure carried onto the canvas.
